Happy 205th Birthday to Mehitable Sawyer on October 1st.  Mehitable's life was one of struggle.  The family moved from Maine to Kirtland (after joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints) to Missouri to Illinois and to Utah.  Mehitable had 9 children only 4 living to adulthood.  Have a piece of cake for Mehitable's birthday and wish her happy birthday.

Happy belated 147th birthday to Joseph Bitter on August 23, 1864.  Great Grandpa Bitter lived to be 103 years old.  I remember his 100th birthday party.  He had an amazing life from the buggy days to the airplane.  He had 12 children.  Share a piece of cake and your favorite memory of Great Grandpa Bitter.

Happy Belated 113th Birthday to Elizabeth Adams Bitter, August 28, 1898.  One of my memories of Grandma Bitter is sitting at her dining room table and giggling.  She would tell us that if we giggle while we ate we would choke and die which would just make us laugh and giggle more.  She was always beautifully dressed an elegant lady.  Share your favorite memory of Grandma Bitter and a piece of cake today in memory of her birthday.
